“Tierra” (earth) is a more abstract extension of the “topia” and “syntheseis” series. They have been created in a quite parallel period and the main goal of this theme was a better understanding of the earth in its different forms. A great challenge for the painter, as he had to work with various styles, media, textures and forms. Moreover what is common in this series are the earthly colours which give the sense of jubilation and calmness. However the flow of colours creates a more intense rhythm and movement producing an increasing interest to the audience.
